{Sofia and Christian} Boulder, Co Portrait Photographer
May 28, 2011Finally, it is beautiful again in Boulder! I am so HAPPY! I just got back from a mini portrait photography session that I have had to reschedule at least 5 times in the last month because Boulder had such a gray and rainy May. But here we are, and I am excited that everything is so green now. Wonderland Lake in north Boulder looks SO different now. It has been so yellow and brown in all the photographs I have taken there the last few months, and this morning everything was green-the foothills, the grass, the trees. I love the change in colors.
This was one of my mini photography sessions in San Francisco. Well, this one was actually in Menlow Park, just outside of San Francisco. I have to say, I don’t think ANY of us walked away from this mini session thinking that we got good photos. The kids were so sweet, but super interested in running around and doing what they want to do. But, when I got home and looked at all the images, they were gorgeous! It was just one of those photo shoots where I worked really hard chasing the children around, snapping away, and that hard work really paid off. I know mom wanted just one photo of the the two kids together, and we got it! So sweet. And look at what a diva Sofia is.
I am happy about this weekend. I have so much planned for the kids. We barbecued last night with friends and then we have a big community BBQ and parade on Monday. I love, love, love the Boulder Creek Festival, too. There is always great music, performances, art. We will be heading down there tomorrow and Monday. Adam is doing a conference in Denver all weekend so it is just the kids and I again. Who is doing the Bolder Boulder? I would love to say I am, but I just can not run. My pregnancies just did my hips in. Yes, I am only 31. But we will be going to watch the Bolder Boulder, so we may see you there!

Gorgeous pictures, as always! I love it when sessions end up like that – you think you didn’t get anything and then you’re pleasantly surprised with tons of beautiful pictures!
