{A Windy Night…} Boulder Family Photographer

May 11, 2011

Meet my new sales manager Reg, and her family. On the windiest night of the year in Boulder. I was being blown over trying to get that shot of them in the back of the Bronco. The wind was so loud in my ears I could hardly hear my voice as I tried to get the attention of the boys. Yes, she has four boys, all 3 and under! And all super-model gorgeous. Every single one of them. The wind had picked up just minutes before, and was ferocious, but I wanted to at least attempt to get some photos since she has gotten all four, yes four, boys ready and out the door for the photo session. That first one was the best we could do in the field. I swear they were about to be blown over by the wind. Suffice it to say, you will be seeing new photos of them here in a week or so when we do our make-up session.

Rainy day today, but, boy, does Boulder need that water. I can not wait for the 4 sessions I have this weekend! Everything will be suddenly very green. I love it when the colors change. The whole feel and look of my photography changes with it to some degree. It is like getting a new palette of paints.

Enjoy the rainy, cozy day! I am now off to snuggle with my baby and read books!

xoxo stacey

[...] Reg, my new sales manager has had a super busy week (ya think-I have been shooting non-stop lately!). She ROCKS. She is so easy to talk to, knows what size prints would go well where and with what other prints, and is overall just making my business and life run so smoothly. I am actually kind of shocked. For those of you who have been reading my blog for years now, you know that I am always writing about how overwhelmed I am. Well, right now I am more booked than I have EVER been, and I am not stressed-not even one little bit. The last two years I have put so much work into streamlining my workflow and outsourcing what I don’t love to do, and it has totally paid off. [...]
