{A little fighter} Boulder, Co Child Photographer

September 10, 2010

Meet Cormac. One of the cutest babies I have ever photographed.  Just look at those gorgeous blue eyes! And those cheeks! Cormac’s mom contacted me through The Littlest Heroes Project, which is a volunteer organization that provides free photography to families that have children that are going through serious medical issues. But you would never guess it from looking at him! Cormac actually has Urea Cycle Disorder and received a liver transplant as well. What a little fighter. I am sure he weighs more than my 1 year old now. That must have been so scary for his family, I can not even imagine.  Big brother Benen is pretty cute too, don’t you think? If you know someone who baby is struggling with a serious condition, please let them know about The Littlest Heroes Project, it is such an amazing organization and I am proud to be a part of it.

Stacey, These are beautiful pictures. Thank you so much and thanks for your work with Little Heroes project! We will treasure these photos. One slight clarification: Cormac *did* have a Urea Cycle Disorder called OTC (Ornithine Transcarbamylase Deficiency) but the liver transplant was curative of the disorder. He is now almost 7 months since his transplant. Thanks to the donor family, and wonderful staff at Children’s Hospital Denver & Boulder Foothills, and miracles- he is here with us today. Donate Life!
