April 20, 2010Ok, I LOVE this family. This is my third time photographing them (ahem, see the cute newborn on my blog header, that is that big 1 year old below!) and each time I walk away feeling so happy I had the opportunity to photograph them. Even though it was a very short mini session this time, we got so many fabulous photos because of the bright, beautiful clothing mama brought for Connor and Hannah, and because of all the fabulous props she brought (tea set, blankets, monkey, wooden train set, cupcakes). The clothes and props help to bring a lot of personality to the shoot, and gives me a variety of shots to set up. And, it doesn’t hurt that the kids are super cute and full of joy. Well, unless you put a cupcake into the birthday boy’s hand in the middle of a field, and then maybe not so joyful, but still cute:).
Anyways, I asked Erin where she shops because I want to pass along the info for clients, and she told me that Hannah’s outfits are from Baby Gap, and Connor’s CUTE outfits (I LOVE the star shorts and monster shirt!) are from Mini Boden.
I am off to shop right now, as I set up a video shoot for my own family in just a couple weeks. It is my mother’s day present from my husband. We gave up long ago the idea that he could surprize me with gifts, so now I just tell him what to get. This happened after he got me a dart board one year. Yeah, a dart board. Bc that is TOTALLY what I want for our anniversary. “You know, we can play it together.”

Stacey- as always these are great! I as so sure that there would be not a whole lot to choose from since Connor insisted on crying the majority of the time and Hannah’s need to wear her blanket on her head…but there are so many great ones to pick from. THANKS!!!!! I love the cupcake photos.

PLEASURE OF SEEING EACH AND EVERY PICTURE YOU HAVE TAKEN OF THESE CHILDREN AND I WILL SAY I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH WONDERFUL SHOTS BEFORE. My absolute best picture is the tea party. I love it. They are adorable. Love the colors in these photos and the personalitites shine through. Great looking family pictures. I like that it was taken all outside.

The Family seem so happy and in love with each other. Hannah is obviously a wonderful older sister and Connor a very happy baby. I have seen other shots by Stacy from Erin and they are always beautiful. My Favs are the family shot with all standing and Hannah grabbing hold of “Daddys” leg and the single shots of Hannah declaring all the world hers with open arms and Connor enjoying the simple things in life like a cupcake.
