Um, seriously? Do babies come cuter than this? I LOVE these boots. Mom, where did you get them? Please tell us! And those thighs? Oh goodness, one day they are going to be sooo glad that they got photos when they did-as soon as she starts crawling she will start to thin out a bit. I just love these photos and can’t believe this was just a mini session (half hour). So sweet.

This is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen. Look at her hair, her eyes, her glowing skin and sweet flaky feet. Sigh. She was a dream, too. She slept almost the whole time, and let me put her into whatever poses I wanted (well, almost!). I love the way her little feet go together in prayer. I have never seen that before and I have photographed A LOT of newborns. I am in love with her name. Giada. Such a sweet baby, I can not wait to see her as she grows. She will have HUGE dreamy eyes and beautiful black hair. She will be sos weet and joyful towards everyone. I *think* that I have done enough newborn/6 mos/1 yr sessions to be able to anticipate how the baby develops. We’ll see, I guess. All I know, is that if I could have packed her up in my suitcase without mom and dad noticing, I just might have:)

Why is it that this whole freaking parenting thing is so bittersweet?? I love it when he grows and learns, and yet it makes my heart ache to see him so big. Sigh. It is just the way it is. I must get used to that. So, five years ago I gave birth to this sweet baby boy.
Just a few of this little beautiful boy for now. Must drag myself away to make dinner!
